Char Dham Tour
Duration : 14 Days/13 Nights
Destination Coverd :Delhi - Haridwar - Jankichatti - Uttarkashi - Rudraprayag - Kedarnath - Chamoli - Badrinath - Rishikesh.
Day 1 : Delhi - Haridwar
You would land on Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. Directly from airport, you would head your way to Haridwar, the divine destination that nestles itself on Himalayas. Your hotel room would be booked. We guarantee you that hotel booked would be according to your needs and desires. We would be in Hardiwar by noon . In the evening we would come out for a stroll and attend prayer at Har Ki Pauri. It is a pleasure to watch Har Ki Pauri in the evening as the entire ghat ( bank) is surrounded by innumerable devotees to have glimpse of the prayer the lightens the dark evening of the city. With echoes of hymns which penetrates the city silence, and lure you to participate in one of the most traditional form of prayer in India. Late evening, we would resort back to the hotel and would have our food in the hotel itslef. Overnight stay in the hotel..
Day2 :Haridwar - Barkot
Early in the morning, we would depart from Haridwar to Barkot. We would have our lunch in Mussorrie. After having a sumptous lunch at a restaurant we would explore Kempty falls and retreat our eyes with good scenic milieu. We would restart our journey from Kempty fall to Mussorrie and it would take us few hrs to reach there. On arrival, we would head towards the Char Dham Camp at Yamnotri which is just 1 km away from Barkot town on the Yamnotri road. We would have a overnight stay at the camp.
Day3 :Barkot - Yamnotri - Barkot Your breakfast would be at Barkot and after filling yourself with good sumptous meal, we would drive towards Hanuman Chatti. Hanuman Chatti is about 32 km away from Barkot. From Hanuman Chatti, we would take a local jeep to reach Phool Chatti. This would help us to shorten our trek by 5 kms. We would arrive at Yamnotri, relax ourself with a cup of tea . Then would refresh ourself and head towards the temple to offer our prayers. We would also take Holy Achaman which would be benign act to start our foray to the sacred pilgrimage of Char Dham Yatra. We would return back to the camp for dinner and relaxation . Here we would relax ourself with an ayurvedic massage at the resort. Have an overnight stay at the Char Dham Camp.
Day4 : Barkot - Uttarkashi
We would leave for Uttarkashi in the morning and would reach there by lunch. Here we would resort to another camp site which would provide you a good accommodation facility. At Uttarkashi, we have the famous Vishawanath temple. In the evening we would have an overnight camp here. A bonfire with group mates would give your journey homely..
Day 5 : Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi
After breakfast, we would leave for Gangotri. On arrival we would have holy dip in the river Ganga which is also known as Bhagirithi at its origin. We would also attend Puja in the temple and would relax ourself in the bright sunshine in the lovely surroundings. Trek through the rugged terrain and try to capture mystical beauty of the land. In the evening we would come back to perform Ganga Aarti on the river bank. Try out Aloo Poori ( roasted potatoes with Deep-Fried Whole Wheat Indian Bread ). Mind it, Aloo puri (Po-orie) is a high calorific diet. If not interested in this, please return to the camp where you would served with regular meal. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 6 : Uttarkashi - New Tehri - Guptakashi
Next day in the morning , we would be having our breakfast and leaving for Guptkashi. On way, you would be able to see Tehri Dam. In Guptakashi, you have two temples - Vishwanath temple and Ardhnareshwar temple. At Guptkashi, we would resort to the camp site. Located 2 kms away from the town of Gauri kund, Char Dham is incidently one of the best places to explore. Trekking in Guptkashi could be the way to experience Uttarkashi. We would have our dinner in the camp site.
Day 7 : Guptakashi - Kedarnath
In morning, we would have our breakfast at Gaurikund and would get our lunch packed and leave for Gaurikund. Gaurikund is just 32 kms drive away from the Guptakashi. We would have our lunch on route. Slowly and steadily, we would meander through the varied terrain of Guptakashi and reach Kedarnath. In the evening, we would see Kedarnath Temple and Adi Shankracharya Samadhi. We would also go to Punjab Sind Awas where we would take our dinner. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.
Day 8 : Kedarnath - Guptakashi
Later in the morning, we would return to Guptakashi. Take a panoramic view falling on the sites of Guptakashi by road. We would have our Ayurvedic Massage as soon we would reach the camp as this would help you to tone down your body muscles. Later in the evening, we would have our dinner in the Guptakashi.
Day 9 : Guptakashi - Joshimath Via Chopta
In the morning, we would have our breakfast in Joshimath via Chopta. On way, we would be able to see the incredible sites which these mountains offer. Take a peep into the thick medicinal forests which would fall on way. By evening we would be able to reach Joshimath. If time allows and if you are not stressed, we would arrange a bonfire for you which would help to forget the stress that you would have in your way. Overnight stay in the camp.
Day 10 :Joshimath - Badrinath - Joshimath
We would leave for Badrinath in the morning and on arrival to Badrinath we could have a holu darshan. Try spending time in Mana Village which is considered to be the last village before the Tibet border. From here, if you want we can arrange a tour to Auli, one of the best Ski resorts of India. Overnight stay at the camp.
Day 11 : Joshimath - Haridwar
Next morning! We would leave with our breakfast from Joshimath for Haridwar. On way we would visit Devprayag and Rishikesh. On route, you could stop for lunch in Srinagar and from there we would come to Haridwar. We would have your room booked in Haridwar so all you would have to do is throw your bags and sleep tight after a sumptous meal.
Day 12 : Haridwar - Delhi
From Haridwar, we would make our way back to Delhi. If you want you can opt a train or airport to move back.
