Day 01 Arrive Cochin
Arrive Cochin airport / Ernakulam Railway station and transfer you to the hotel. Later proceed for a half day sightseeing of Cochin visiting The Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St.Francis church, Chinese fishing net & The indo-Portughese Museum. Evening enjoy Kathakali dance show ( ancient dance of kerala ) Overnight stay in Cochin.
Day 02 Drive to Munnar ( 140 Kms / 04 hrs )
After breakfast, drive to Munnar. Arrive Munnar and check in at the hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 03 Munnar
After breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing of Munnar visiting Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai, Eravikulam Wildlife sanctuary & Tea Plantation. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 04 Drive to Periyar ( 120 Kms / 4 hrs )
After breakfast, drive to Periyar and check in at the hotel. Later go for a spice plantation Tour & boating in the Periyar lake to view the wildlife at the Periyar tiger reserve. Overnight stay in Periyar.
Day 05 Drive to Kumarakom ( 145 Kms / 4 hrs )
After breakfast, drive to Kumarakom and visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary or walk around the paddy fields that surround this lake island. Later drive to boat station to board houseboat for a backwater cruise. Relax in fresh air as the houseboat gently cruises along the tranquil backwaters of Kerala. Overnight stay on board the houseboat.
Day 06 Drive to Kovalam ( 190 Kms / 4.5 hrs )
Morning after breakfast, disembark at a jetty near Alleppey and drive to Kovalam. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure on the beach. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
Day 07 Excursion to Kanyakumari
After breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Kanyakumari. En-route sightseeing of Trivandrum visiting The Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Museum, Sri Padmanabha Temple and the Padmanabhapuram Palace. On arrival at Kanyakumari visit the Gandhi Memorial, Vivekananda Rock, Devikanya temple and return back to Kovalam after seeing the sunset from the southern tip of India. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
Day 08 Onward destination
Morning at leisure, after breakfast transfer to Cochin / Trivandrum - airport / railway station for your journey to onward destination. |
